18 HOLE
GOLF IBIZA COURSE
Set in the most rugged part of the valley, with narrow fairways and numerous natural and artificial obstacles, each of the 18 holes has been given a name reflecting its most outstanding geographic or aesthetic feature, making it one of the few courses in the islands with this tradition.
With spectacular fairways adapted to the steep terrain, the slopes demand a high-risk tactical game — particularly on Hole 4, with a very dangerous out-of-bounds; Hole 7, featuring the steepest uphill; and Hole 14, a straight, completely downhill hole.
However, it’s Holes 16 and 18 that most challenge players who have reached them with a good score, as they are the most demanding.
In short, this is a tough course with no easy holes, offering a true challenge for golf enthusiasts of all skill levels.
HOLE 1
A dogleg to the right with a wide fairway off the tee. The hole narrows again in an amphora shape. Two very precise shots are needed to reach a narrow green well protected by bunkers.
HOLE 2
One of the most beautiful holes on the course. A good drive is required to carry over the lake, forcing shorter hitters to favor the right side. The uphill second shot brings you to a large green with few difficulties.
HOLE 3
The shortest hole on the course. Featuring an elevated green well protected by bunkers on both sides, it requires a precise shot. Two ancient olive trees at the back guard the long approach.
HOLE 4
A challenging hole where you should favor the left side of the fairway to avoid the out-of-bounds on the right. The second shot favors the longer drive, leading clearly to a large green well protected by bunkers on the right.
HOLE 5
A short precision hole. A small stream crosses the fairway near the end of the drive, forcing players to either risk a long shot with the danger of out-of-bounds on the right or play a safer short tee shot. This makes the approach to the long, narrow green more challenging. Keep its name in mind and take your time.
HOLE 6
A relatively easy hole with out-of-bounds on the right. The green is large and straightforward. Enjoy the magnificent sea views before tackling the uphill challenge of the difficult Hole 7.
HOLE 7
A challenging hole featuring the steepest uphill on the entire course. If you’ve taken a moment to enjoy the views, you’ll have enough energy to tackle the complications of this left dogleg. A solid drive and a deep breath will help you manage the ascent and the second shot.
HOLE 8
Take a moment after climbing the “EVEREST.” From the tee, you’ll see the green against an incredible panoramic backdrop. A straightforward downhill hole, which will help add distance to your shots. A lake to the right of the green acts as a safeguard for those aiming for a good score.
HOLE 9
A long, narrow hole featuring one of the most challenging greens on the course, well protected on both sides.
HOLE 11
A mostly straight downhill hole. Aim your shots to the right to avoid the stream on the left. The green is narrow and elongated, with pine trees on the right making the second shot particularly challenging..
HOLE 12
One of the most difficult holes on the course. Slightly uphill, although the green is visible from the tees. A shot to the left will end up in the stream, leaving an almost impossible next shot if you find your ball.
HOLE 13
A gentle dogleg to the right. Despite the number, it is a forgiving hole without major difficulties. The green is lightly protected and rewards long shots. Try to favour the right side on all your shots.
HOLE 14
A straight hole played completely downhill. A drive to the right becomes more difficult due to the presence of nine magnificent centuries-old olive trees. The second shot is played to a challenging green located very close to the course boundary.
HOLE 15
A short recovery hole that requires a precise drive, as the fairway is protected by a stream on the left, bunkers, and out of bounds on the right. Once on the fairway, the second shot is relatively easy to a straightforward green. Take advantage of the opportunity and prepare yourself for the grand finale.
HOLE 16
As its name suggests, take a moment to think before taking your shot. If you have a good score, focus on overcoming the most difficult part and take the risk with a long shot toward a very large green.
HOLE 17
The most difficult hole on the course due to its length. Slightly uphill and turning to the left. A well-protected green makes reaching it in two shots difficult. Making par on this hole is something you can be satisfied with.
HOLE 18
A spectacular hole in every sense. From the tee you can see the entire hole rising in a tube-like shape towards the clubhouse. Gather your courage, as you will need two of your best shots to reach one of the largest and most challenging greens on the course, featuring four different tiers
