On Saturday, September 8, the 2nd edition of the Open Bridgestone golf tournament took place on the 18-hole course at “Golf de Ibiza”. This tournament was held for the second consecutive year as an initiative of Golf Ibiza by azuLinehotels and in collaboration with the international golf brands Bridgestone, Ecco, and Callaway.
The shotgun sounded at 2:00 pm and the 35 players took the course of 18 holes of Golf Ibiza immediately to compete in this magnificent tournament. At the end of the grand tour, a welcome cocktail was held along with the award ceremony by Bridgestone, Ecco, and Callaway, in which the finalists and Scratch Winner were awarded.
Tom Gray, has been the absolute winner in Scratch of the II Open Bridgestone, followed by Maxwell Iveson (40), who with at the young age of 13 won in the first category. In second category Toni Massó has been classified with 44 points and in the category of ladies Tanja Mandrella with 37 points.
The longest men’s drive award went to Toni Massó, the longest female drive for Anneke Van Staveren and the closest ball award to Hans Van Staveren. In addition, there has been a prize draw for all tournament participants.
