On Friday, September 21, the I LUX-OD Hotels golf tournament took place on the 18-hole course at “Golf de Ibiza.” Day of golf celebrated for the first time in Ibiza by the hand of numerous sponsors and organized by LUX, specialist golf guide in the Balearic Islands.
The shotgun sounded at 2:00 pm. More than 40 players took the course of 18 holes of Golf Ibiza immediately to compete in this magnificent tournament.
At the end of the grand tour, a tasting cocktail was held on the terrace of the Hoyo19 restaurant with the collaboration of Aguas de Ibiza, Torres Romero Wine, Ibosim Beer, Mari Mayans, Law Gin, Sa Brisa restaurant, ArMuria luxury honey, Casa Riera Orideix, Blázquez hams and Tabladillo.
After the cocktail, the awards ceremony began for the 7 classified players of the tournament by Vicent Torres, Insular Tourism Director, the president and director of OD Hotels Ibiza, Cristina Martín, president of Luxury Spain, representatives of Ibiza Luxury Destination, Javier Mariño and Carlos Martorell.
Sam Feasey, has been the absolute winner in Scratch. Andrés Villar Marí, with 47 points, was the first classified in the men’s category, followed by Jesús Paco Escudero, with 40 points. The first classified in the female category was Nicola Alsen with 37 points; and ranked second, Tanja Mandrella with 34 points. The longest drive award went to Carlos Márquez and the closest ball award to Sandra Negro. In addition, there has been a prize draw for all tournament participants.
