We announce our first charity tournament in collaboration with Cáritas. We will be celebrating this charity golf day next Saturday, December 16th on the 18-hole course of Golf Ibiza; the proceeds will go to Cáritas, to help in their volunteering, distribution of food and fight against poverty.
The tournament will be played in the Greensome mode. This is a mixed pairs game in which each player of the pair executes the tee shot at each hole. The game is continued with only one of the two balls, freely chosen by the pair, and then they alternate the shots until finishing the hole. All players with a valid license and handicap may participate. There will be prizes in the categories, 1st classified pair and 2nd classified pair. There will also be a prize for the nearest ball (hole 6).
The shotgun tee-off will be at 9:30 h. The charity day will feature a charity raffle with prizes that will be handed out by one of the Caritas collaborators and our chef at the Hoyo 19 (19th Hole) restaurant will have prepared a great appetizer to be held at the end of the tournament.
In short, fun and excitement guaranteed at the Ibiza Golf course for a good cause.

About Cáritas
Cáritas is the official organization of the Catholic Church in Spain for charitable and social action, instituted by the Spanish Episcopal Conference. Their commitment leads to actions directed towards the fight against poverty and social exclusion: development cooperation, distribution of food in the most disadvantaged countries and voluntary work, among others.
Caritas Spain continues to give continuity to the work it has been doing for years, accompanying in different countries the African Cáritas. It focuses its efforts on programs to assure food, water and sanitation, education, humanitarian aid, peacebuilding and the fight against human trafficking, without forgetting its work in Spain of raising awareness to bring the African reality closer.
