The “fade” is a golf shot in which the ball acquires a gentle effect to the right when lowering. The ball has to go to the left of the target and finish at our objective through this small effect from left to right. Unlike a “slice”, it is a controlled shot that is provoked in order to reach our goal. The slice is a failed shot with a lot of curve to the right and that crosses the line of play.

The rolled chip is a shot that is used very close to the green. It consists in making the ball fly over the part that is not the green and then roll over the green until it reaches the hole. We could also use the putt in this case, but the rolled chip prevents us from having bad bounces and also stops unexpected acceleration and deceleration of the ball.  Thanks to this technique, we have better control of the distances and more consistency with our shots.
