On Saturday, October 26th, the 2nd Friends Cup Tournament was held in Golf Ibiza by azuLinehotels, a great initiative included in the “Golf para todos” program of the Real Federación Española de Golf in which golfers invite a non-golf player, to play the golf course with them. The golfer takes the long game and the other person makes the putts when they reach the green of each hole. A great tournament in which non-players can discover for the first time the experience of playing the holes alongside their acquaintances, family or friends.
During Saturday afternoon, tournament participants will play holes 1, 2, 3 and 9 of the Roca Llisa golf course. An exciting day for everyone, fun for golfers and innovative for people playing on their first golf course in the company of their golfing partner.
At the end of the golf course for pairs, a welcome cocktail was held for everyone at the Hoyo19 restaurant, a quiet and peaceful place surrounded by nature and nestled between the two Golf Ibiza courses. During the cocktail party, the awards ceremony was held on the terrace for the first three classified couples and there was a gift for all non-player participants, of a course of golf classes for two people.
Congratulations to all the participants, especially to Toni Gila and Javier Huertas, Consuelo Antúnez and Alfonso Rojo, and Ricardo Agüera and Tania Roig; the three winning couples of the 2nd Friends Cup Tournament.
